This is a narrative and descriptive account, with a qualitative approach, presenting the creation of a woodcut as a typographic communication tool to support the dissemination of health information. The experience took place in June 2025 at the Arts and Crafts Center of the Cariri Sérvulo Esmeraldo Cultural Center, managed by the Mirante Institute of Culture and Art, and located in the city of Crato, in the southern region of the state of Ceará. This reiterates the constant need to expand health communication through new channels of dialogue, with the aim of promoting social participation, considering art, culture, and popular knowledge as significant elements in the construction of dialogues.
