Keywords:
Globalização; Artefatos culturais e tecnológicos; Escola.Abstract
The article addresses the impacts of global demands arising from globalization and neoliberalism, focusing on education. It explores the influence of cultural and technological artifacts in schools, highlighting how these demands affect their usage. The research employs a qualitative approach, grounded in a bibliographic review that includes analyses of scientific articles, dissertations, and books. The key theoretical concepts include globalization, neoliberalism, and subjectivation. The study reveals that global transformations have significantly altered social institutions, though schools have been slower and more gradual in adapting to these changes. Among the conclusions, the study emphasizes the need to rethink the emancipation of individuals in education, focusing on students' autonomy and critical thinking as a counterpoint to the market-driven and neoliberal logic shaping educational models.
