Nas Ondas do Podcast: o ensino da língua espanhola dentro e fora da sala de aula

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to reflect on the use of the Spanish language and contact with the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries during the creation of podcasts, based on an experience report developed at the Instituto Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul - IFMS, Nova Andradina campus, with the participation of 9 high school vocational students who produced, recorded, and shared the digital files. The study is situated within the field of Applied Linguistics - AL, which has highlighted the importance of meaningful learning for students, the promotion of identity repositioning, and the use of technological resources in schools. The results show the effective use of the Spanish language in the production of podcasts, a practice that goes beyond the physical limits of the classroom, the positive appreciation of certain Hispanic countries and their contribution to the formation of Brazilian identity itself. The data presented contribute to the field of language studies, showing that, in certain pedagogical practices, it is possible to reconcile new technologies with teaching purposes in ways that are meaningful for student learning.

Márcio Palácios de Carvalho, Instituto Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul - IFMS campus Nova Andradina

É doutorando em Estudos de Linguagens pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul - UFMS, mestre em Letras pela Universidade Estadual de Mato Grosso do Sul - UEMS, especialista em Linguística Aplicada e Ensino de Línguas pela UFMS e graduado em Letras com habilitação em língua portuguesa, língua espanhola e suas literaturas pela UEMS. Docente do quadro efetivo de professores do Instituto Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul - IFMS, na área de Letras Português e Espanhol. Desenvolve estudos em Linguística Aplicada com foco em pesquisa narrativa, decolonialidade e ensino de espanhol. Atua como membro do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Linguagens e Educação - Geple (UFMS/CNPq).

 

Letícia de Leon Carriconde, Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul - UFMS

Graduei-me em Fonoaudiologia, em 1996, pelo Instituto Metodista de Educação e Cultura (IMEC/RS) e atuei como terapeuta infantil na área da linguagem até 2000. Conclui a licenciatura em Letras Português e Espanhol pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) em 2022. Mestra pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Estudos de Linguagens (PPGEL) da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), no qual fui bolsista CAPES. Ao longo da última graduação, atuei como professora de espanhol em programas da instituição, como no Projele (2018), no Idiomas Sem Fronteiras (2019), no Progeli 2.0 (2020) e no Progeli (2021). Fiz parte da equipe criadora do projeto de extensão intitulado LínguasCast de 2022 até 2024. Essas e outras vivências como extensionista me aproximaram e fizeram com que eu me interessasse pelo contexto que se tornou minha dissertação de mestrado intitulada "Que extensão construímos: (trans)formadora ou mercadológica?". Atualmente, sou doutoranda do Programa de Pos-Graduação em Estudos de Linguagens da UFMS, no qual investigo a divulgação cientifica e a popularização das ciências, e atuo como professora no curso de Letras, Habilitação Português Espanhol e suas Literaturas na Universidade Estadual de Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS - campus CG). Sou membro do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Linguagens e Educação (Geple) - UFMS/CNPq e faço parte. Possuo interesse em temas relacionados à extensão universitária, à formação de professores, ao ensino de línguas, à popularização das ciências, à decolonialidade e às políticas linguísticas.
