This article explores possibilities for establishing dialogue between differences. Furthermore, it seeks, through pedagogical imagination, to create new opportunities for dialogical interactions in mathematical education. Pedagogical imagination is a methodological approach to investigating situations that do not yet exist but may come to exist. It opens new educational possibilities for research. Through this process, we present opportunities to establish dialogue between regional, economic, cultural, racial, ethnic, and national differences. In conclusion, dialogue between differences can offer additional support for critical learning, which has not been widely explored before. Thus, dialogue amongst differences is suggested as part of the practice of critical mathematical education.
