Open Science Policy

Tangram Journal  promote open science as a fundamental principle for the responsible dissemination of knowledge, ensuring free and immediate access to scientific content, openness in editorial processes, and transparency, in line with DOAJ, COPE, and international best practices.

Guidelines:

1. Open Access to Knowledge

  • All articles are made available freely and without embargo, immediately upon publication.

2. Licensing

  • Publications follow the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, which allows use, distribution, and adaptation for non-commercial purposes, with proper attribution.

3. Transparency in the Editorial Process

  • Peer-review reports may be published alongside the article, with or without reviewer identification.

  • The decision to publish the reviews is communicated to authors and reviewers at the start of the review process.

4. Open Data and Materials

  • Authors are encouraged to make their data, code, and supplementary materials available in open repositories, linked to the article through DOI or persistent URL.

5. Commitment to Open Science

  • The journal publicly declares its open science practices and periodically reviews its policies to align with international best practices.
