Abstract

The article explores the connections between Art and Geography, focusing on the work of contemporary artist Alex Flemming as its object of analysis. Flemming's provocative and interdisciplinary creations are presented as a valuable resource for enhancing the understanding of geographic space production, broadening the perspectives of teachers and students alike. Methodologically, the study employs an interpretive and cultural approach to examine the intersections between the artist's visual and plastic productions and geographic knowledge. This analysis aims to identify resonances, interrelations, and potential dissonances within the works, fostering critical reflection on the themes addressed. The methodology also links these artistic creations to the teaching-learning process, emphasizing their pedagogical potential.
