Abstract

The History of Women is a relatively new venture and reveals a profound transformation: it is linked closely to the notion that women have a history, not only for breeding, but also as historical agents, possessing a historicity of the relations between the sexes. To reflect and write such a story means taking them seriously, overcome the thorny problem of the sources and criticize the structure of a story presented as universal, in the words that are not only to explain the gaps and missing links, but also to suggest another possible reading.
