The production of teaching materials for educational actions has had great relevance in recent years, incorporating digital technologies into many of these resources. This article aims to present a teaching resource developed precisely using these information and communication technologies, based on practices that involve elements of mathematical modeling and robotics. The main objective of creating the resource appears to be teaching trigonometric functions and their applications. For this purpose, a mathematical model was initially developed that represents a sound of little complexity, using an approximation of the discretization of the sound by the sum of trigonometric functions and computational applications. Using this model, a robotic prototype was built with the aim of approaching trigonometry in a practical and playful way. Experimenting with the possibility of using such a resource can have a positive influence on the teaching and learning process. The presence of a robot moving when speaking a simple sound into a microphone, such as the sound of a vowel, can have a positive impact on the teaching and learning process.
