Teste Kappa de Concordância na Delimitação de Unidades Prosódicas em Enunciados Numéricos no PB
Keywords:
Prosodic units, Kappa test, Numerical groupingsAbstract
This paper aims to verify the agreement in the delimitation of prosodic units in numerical utterances in Brazilian Portuguese (BP). For that, we used the Fleiss Kappa agreement test among expert and naive raters, with utterances of nominal numbers, namely: individual taxpayer registry identification (CPF), postal code (CEP), identity card (ID), mobile (Cel) and fixed (Tel) telephone numbers. Results showed a significant agreement regarding the segmentation of the numerical groupings, both among trained and untrained raters, since the Kappa coefficient showed no values less than 0.75. Our findings suggest that people are able to identify, in a very homogeneous way, prosodic boundaries in numerical groupings, even though they are not experts in the area.
