Será que engajam? As possibilidades e desafios do ensino de botânica por meio das mídias sociais

Atualmente a sociedade envolta pelas Tecnologias Digitais da Informação e Comunicação, estas são amplamente utilizadas pelos jovens, que nasceram na geração com grande acesso a tecnologias e mídias sociais. Objetivou-se com este estudo analisar as mídias sociais como meio para o ensino de Botânica, suas possibilidades e desafios, para então fundamentar a elaboração de um plano de sequência didática. A pesquisa é uma revisão bibliográfica dos últimos seis anos (2018-2023), em que foram selecionados dez estudos. Observou-se cinco principais pontos caracterizados como positivos em relação à possibilidade de ressignificar o modo como a Botânica é ensinada e aprendida, além de pontos negativos. Conclui-se que é possível utilizar as mídias sociais no ensino de Botânica, mas é preciso que sejam propostos métodos inclusivos.
