Abstract

The aim of this work is to present the creation and applicability of a game that assists in the teaching and learning of Portuguese Language (PL) for deaf students. It was developed by students of the LIBRAS Language undergraduate course at the Distance Education Faculty (EaD) of the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD), supported by the Institutional Program of Teaching Initiation Grants (PIBID) that develops the LIBRAS Language subproject in a state public school in the city of Dourados, Mato Grosso do Sul. Initially, the activities developed will be presented, followed by the methods and then the results. It is clear that the use of media games is a significant tool that contributes positively to the teaching and learning process of PL for deaf students.
