Thinking about the meaning of school (public) from a setting of type insiders-outsiders

Abstract

The article proposes to think a typology of senses of the school or senses of the school thing. They propose three types of sense: the aristocratic sense, the democratic sense and the demagogic sense. Each of these senses a certain model implies of thinking and constructing our school institutions. The test of Norbert Elias, Insiders and Outsiders has been an input to base to think the notable typology. An inclusive and really democratic school needs to be thought from perspectives. As it distinguishes itself in the same article, "the senses of the education must be looked to dividing in the relations between groups. That is to say, they must be looked on the basis of considering how the individuals re-mean the social thing. In this point the senses are not such but they imply a construction and collective identification.
