About the Journal
Focus and Scope
EaD & Tecnologias Digitais na Educação is an INTERDISCIPLINARY journal published by the Faculty of Distance Education at UFGD. In addition to fostering debates on the use and development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in both face-to-face and distance education, it dedicates itself to disseminating academic works that balance theoretical and practical approaches. These works address management, policies, methods and models, practices and concepts, and the development of digital technologies, among other topics.
The journal is published annually and may, under exceptional circumstances, publish special issues featuring academic productions from researchers, faculty members, students, and associates of the Faculty of Distance Education. It is divided into four sections: articles; theses and dissertations; book reviews and interviews; and experience reports. Its target audience consists of professors, researchers, students, and anyone interested in the journal's themes.
The journal's mission is to disseminate knowledge produced about and through education (face-to-face and distance) and digital technologies in education. It aims to contribute to and foster the integration of academic activities and teaching, research, and outreach initiatives developed in both public and private organizations.
Peer Review Process
Works submitted by contributors to the Journal will undergo a blind peer review process. Authors must submit only the final version of their work—that is, the complete version, including all author data.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public fosters a greater global democratization of knowledge.
