Abstract

O artigo discute como os meios de comunicação influenciam a sociedade da informação, destacando a importância de entender como as tecnologias de informação e comunicação (TICs) afetam a vida social, cultural e educacional. O estudo tem como objetivo refletir sobre o legado de Marshall McLuhan para os estudos da mídia e da educação. Os principais resultados mostram que a educação atual deve ir além do conteúdo, levando em conta o impacto das tecnologias no processo de ensino-aprendizagem. O estudo também destaca que as TICs ampliaram o acesso ao conhecimento e criaram formas de aprender. Além disso, reforça a importância das ideias de McLuhan para criar práticas pedagógicas mais interativas e adaptadas às novas tecnologias. Por fim, o artigo conclui que preparar os alunos para a sociedade da informação é crucial para garantir uma participação cidadã responsável e informada.
