Abstract

This article aims to explore and analyse the role of women writers in the field of Ibero-American children's and young people's literature. The topics of interest that are invited to consider are: The female voice through the visual dimension in children's and young people's literature and Hispanic writers and transgressive children's and young people's literature. Indeed, it tries to provide the scholar or the reader, paraphrasing this biblical and literary quote "And the word became flesh and dwelt among us" (Gospel of John 1:14), a qualitative investigation on how literature and literary education really begin from the tool called "voice" or "spoken word"; our first teachers, grandparents and fathers and a specific case of co-evolution "from voice to writing" by the writer Mary Nelux.
