The insertion of artificial intelligence in immigration procedure

Abstract

The general objective of the article is to analyze whether the use of artificial intelligence systems causes harm to immigrants, mainly in automated decisions by systems that seek to optimize time in administrative immigration requests. As a reference for elaboration, we mainly used the knowledge provided by Fabiano Hartmann Peixoto and Liliana Jubilut. As for the method used in the preparation, it starts with the inductive method by observing the phenomenon, systematizing ideas and collecting data, with a qualitative approach, through bibliographical research, of already published scientific materials, such as theses, dissertations, books, and scientific journal articles. In this way, we seek the possibility of bringing the discussion about how these current methods of disruptive technologies can present risks in the migration process
