The "my identity" and "our" down through the generations: educational processes of adolescents and young people

Abstract

The relations between the juvenile condition and the student condition have been changing as the same time as cultural transformations happen and in the constitution of subjectivity. In this work I will argue as a great part of the literature on the phenomenon of the violence in the educational area is crossed, from his genesis, by a criminological look from the lombrosian counterfoil. The history of West associates the dangerousness with the young people and develops diverse instruments of containment of these rebellious juvenile forces. To the economic and social exclusion there is added the symbolic exclusion that happens in the stigmatized look respect of the young people; a differentiation being established between one we - included, established - and one they - excluded, strangers, minimized - causes of practices and social behaviors. These perspectives have his consequences in the academic field under the postulations of the biological determinism or biological racism. The hegemonic parameter that is applied to specify the violent behaviors continues minimizing and being based on the criminal violence and in the individuals characterized like violent innate person.
