This article aims to reconstruct my academic life until I joined the Faculty of Education as a teacher in a festive moment, in which the IES celebrates fifty-five years of teacher training. This writing comes from a memorial made at the time of admission to the Public Competition at FE. In this sense, the contribution of this text is to contextualize how academic choices came to meet the work I am currently developing. It is an autobiographical account, to which I insert my trajectory from the conceptions of habitus and fields in Pierre Bourdieu, who was the pioneer with the work “Sketch of Self-Analysis” (2005), which inspired many readers to dedicate themselves to autobiographies. So, the question in this text concerns these issues: training, craft, and teaching.
