The text aims to present the historical movement of Rede de Pesquisadores sobre professores do Centro-Oeste (Redecentro), by understanding its contribution and relevance in the area of educational research based on the analysis of the production of knowledge about teachers over two decades of existence. Furthermore, it highlights the collaborative character in the development of Network research: “Academic production on teachers: an interinstitutional study of the Central-West Region”, developed within the scope of the Faculty of Education (UFG) and eight other Higher Education Institutions that allows the analysis of the production of knowledge about teachers, based on the study of dissertations and theses defended in the Postgraduate Programs in Education in the Central-West Region of the country, from 2004 to 2023, with an emphasis on the construction of methodological instruments and the implementation of research about research. We also highlight the importance of the REDE collaborative movement in the analysis of knowledge production from a critical-collaborative perspective of the historical, political, and cultural factors that impact the production of knowledge in the area of Teacher training, as well as the main theoretical, epistemological trends and methodologies of these researches.
