Learning Analytics no Moodle: desenvolvimento e aplicação de um painel de indicadores para apoio à prática pedagógica
Keywords:

The advancement of virtual learning environments has expanded the collection of educational data, but their pedagogical use remains limited. This study aimed to develop and implement a Learning Analytics dashboard in Moodle to support learning monitoring and pedagogical decision-making. The research involved 12 professors from the field of Science and Educational Technologies, who participated in a workshop on Learning Analytics, answered a structured questionnaire via Google Forms, and used the dashboard in courses on the MOOC/Ifes and ReSaberes/SEDU platforms. The results showed that teachers mainly rely on Moodle’s basic reports and simple external tools, facing difficulties such as excessive analysis time and lack of customized reports. After using the dashboard, they highlighted the relevance of participation, engagement, and performance indicators, as well as recognizing improvements in student communication, greater agility, and more accurate monitoring.
