Author Guidelines

(Works with up to 2 [two] authors are accepted, provided that at least one of them holds a master's degree or is a master's student)

The Journal accepts unpublished scientific articles for publication from professors, researchers, and students from public and private institutions in the fields of Education, Distance Education (EaD), and Digital Technologies in Education, submitted on a rolling basis. It is published annually and may, under exceptional circumstances, publish special issues and/or change to semi-annual or triannual editions without the need to notify authors. It is divided into four sections: articles; theses and dissertations; book reviews and interviews; and experience reports.
In each edition, up to two works may be accepted per author—one as the main author and another as a co-author (up to two authors per paper)—distributed across the different sections of this journal.
All received works will be submitted to and reviewed by a committee composed of two or more faculty members who are part of the journal's review board and scientific committee. The editorial team does not commit to returning manuscripts and will notify those interested if their work is not accepted. Text modifications suggested by reviewers will be forwarded to the authors for consideration and must be returned within a maximum period of 7 days.
Since 2024, the Journal has published up to 25 works per issue. When the number of submitted works exceeds this limit, they will be evaluated based on the submission date. Accepted papers that exceed the limit will have priority in the subsequent publication.
Articles must be between 15 and 25 pages long, presenting a study produced in line with the journal's focus area, including the resumo, abstract, charts, tables, images, and bibliographical references within the text body. Both the resumo (in Portuguese) and the abstract (in a foreign language) must be up to 10 lines long with three keywords separated by periods. The body of the text must include: Introduction, Development (one or multiple sections), Final Considerations or Main Results of the Study, and References.
Theses and Dissertations may be presented in an extended abstract format (from 10 to 15 pages, including figures and references), always in line with the journal's focus area.
Reviews (of academic or literary works, films, exhibitions, or plays) must contain between 8 and 10 pages, and experience reports must be between 8 and 10 pages, including figures and references, always in line with the journal's focus area.
Grammatical proofreading is the sole responsibility of the authors.
