Through the Franco-Brazilian Discourse Analysis, the present study analyzes the reading and the formation of the reader in the classroom, through a critical look at the Portuguese Language textbook, specifically, for verification the issues and the constitution of the textbook. We are concerned about whether or not this work intends to train competent readers, as announced by the PNLD. Our corpus of research is the first chapter of the didactic book (teacher's manual) entitled Portuguese, Languages of William Roberto Cereja and Thereza Cochar Magalhães for the 6th year of elementary school II and made available by FNDE through PNLD. The research is documentary and deductive, starting from the analysis of the documents for hypotheses.Downloads
