Cohesion mechanisms in Rubem Braga’s text Aula de Inglês
Keywords:
Text Linguistics. Textual cohesion. Aula de Inglês (short story).Abstract
The cohesion is one of the factors of textuality which relates to the relation, the link and the connection between the elements of a text. The aim of this paper is to verify how the cohesion mechanisms occur in Rubem Braga’s text Aula de Inglês. For the analysis of this text, we will use the theoretical assumptions of Text Linguistics, especially the works of Fávero (1997), Fávero and Koch (2000) and Koch (2001). The work aims to be an exercise in analysis of a text from the theory and the classifications for cohesion.Downloads
