The purpose of this article is to present the social impacts of the research and extension products developed in the last four-year period, by scholar members, active students, and alumni of the post-graduate Program in Geography at the Federal University of Paraíba (PPGG/UFPB). The PPGG/UFPB launched its first academic master's class in 2004 and doctoral program in 2012. The concentration area, entitled "Territory, Work, and Environment", encompasses three research lines, denominated: a) City and Countryside: territory and work; b) Territorial and Environmental Management; and c) Geographical Education. Therefore, the impacts generated have repercussions on elementary and higher education, on the training of qualified professionals and their professional performance, on the reduction of regional asymmetries and the strengthening of local research, as well as innovation and regional development. In its academic modality, the PPGG/UFPB stands out for linking research and extension, seeking to meet the demands of continuing education for qualified teachers and the improvement of public policies, particularly for strengthening elementary and higher education in the country. The new CAPES guidelines (2025-2028) emphasize indicators of social impact, regional diversity, and dialogue with basic education. Therefore, the integration among the research lines has been consolidating in order to strengthen actions aimed at addressing this demand. To demonstrate the social impacts of PPGG/UFPB, the article was divided into three parts: 1. The impact and innovative nature of intellectual production in relation to the program's profile; 2. The economic, social, and cultural impact of the program; 3. Internationalization, insertion (local, regional, national), and visibility of the program.
