Abstract

The purpose of this work is to analyse the relationship between the prose fiction circulation produced by Lusitanian authors in the journal Província do Pará [The Pará Province] (1876-1900) and the presence of these writers in the books of history of the Portuguese literature, in order to establish a relationship between these fiction writers, the newspaper, the reading and the literary stories.
