Discursive quality concreteness and metonymic projections: a comparative study in narratives

This article presents the results of a comparative study on the presence / absence of discursive quality concreteness and metonymic projections on the first and last version of narratives produced by subjects, teachers of Portuguese Language trainees during a course of Specialization / UFGD. We tried to see to what extent the concept of discursive qualities worked with the subjects during the course contributed to the improvement in quality of stylisticdiscursive narratives. From the methodological point of view, the comparative analysis between the textual versions written by the subjects, there was no relationship between the presence of discursive quality concreteness and the presence of metonymic projections (reminiscent, hipalage and synecdoche) in 1st and last version of the narrative. The results indicate the absence of discursive quality concreteness and metonymic projections in version 1st and effective presence in the latest version of the texts resulting in a positive discourse-stylistic effect when comparing the 1st and the last version rewritten by the subjects.Downloads
