Abstract

We reflect through Malinche (2006), Laura Esquivel, that literature remains committed to socio-cultural issues and historical in our day. We understand that, from actual literary production, it is possible to think about the transformations undergone by the Aztec civilization in the colonization period, and follow markedly in today’s Mexico. As we consider that female authorship production is able to lift and reverberate social, historical and cultural issues important to the Latin American context. For such reflections were employed valuable names such as: Achugar (2011), Hutcheon (1991) and Todorov (2003).
