Sionismo Evangélico y El spoyo de EE. UU. a Israel durante el Gobierno de Donald Trump

Durante su mandato, Donald Trump llevó a cabo una Política Exterior fuertemente pro-Israel. Una parte significativa de este éxito puede atribuirse a la influencia religiosa evangélica en su gobierno. Este tra-bajo propone un análisis de la relación entre los siguientes actores: los Estados Unidos, el gobierno de Trump, los evangélicos estadounidenses y el lobby pro-Israel; las justificaciones de la teología protestante en apoyo del Estado de Israel y la manera en que la armonía de estos actores proporcionó un avance diplomático isra-elí poco visto en el presente siglo. Se utilizó el período entre 2017 y 2020 como referencia. La conclusión de este trabajo es que la sincronía entre estos actores, combinada con el pragmatismo esperado del Estado de Israel, culminó en un modus operandi perfecto para la acción política que benefició tanto a Tel Aviv como a la agenda de la derecha cristiana estadounidense.
