A relação educação e trabalho no Sul de Mato Grosso nas formulações de Melo e Silva

O artigo resulta de pesquisa concluída na interface história e educação. Objetiva uma análise possível sobre a conformação do sujeito para o trabalho moderno, na fronteira sul de Mato Grosso, na primeira metade do século passado, conforme as produções do jurista Melo e Silva. Como operadores de análise, utilizaram-se os conceitos de “processos de subjetivação” e de “dispositivo de escolarização”, inscritos na perspectiva pósestruturalista. Ao criticar os hábitos, valores e práticas sociais do homem local, os textos tornam visíveis as tecnologias de dominação e as do eu colocadas em jogo. A solução apontada nos textos volta-se à instituição de escolas primárias e pré-vocacionais, onde as crianças, desde a mais tenra idade, seriam compostas e disciplinadas para se fixarem ao aparelho de produção moderno.Downloads
