Abstract

O artigo discute a avaliação de periódicos na área de geografia. Para tanto, concebe e aplica metodologia em um conjunto de 41 periódicos brasileiros disponíveis no formato digital. O resultado da análise aponta para a necessidade do aperfeiçoamento dos sistemas de avaliação, especificamente quando comparado com a avaliação do Qualis Periódico da área de Geografia.
