Abstract

The chroricles perceives the city on the scale of the ordinary. If we understand that every chronicle is a fictional work, a genre that turns geographic places into narrative places, one can by extension to affirm that the chronicler's look transforms houses, streets, bar doors, corners and manholes in text. This approach movement between Geography and Literature – among many possibilities, it is interesting for us, especially, the reading and production of the city from the chronicles. We choose three chronicles published by geographers on the blog “Multiplicadores de Visat” (Worker Health Surveillance). The reflections show the power of writing chronicles in revealing the organic relationship between image and word, in questioning the kidnapping of the gaze and attention in the metropolises and in the revelation of invisible and possible cities.

Possui graduação em Geografia pela Universidade Estadual de Goiás(2007), especialização em Métodos e técnicas de ensino pela Universidade Saldado de Oliveira(2010) e mestrado em Geografia Humana pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (2022). Atualmente é professor da Secretaria municipal de Educação, professor da Secretaria Estadual de Educação, da Universidade Federal de Goiás, da Universidade Estadual de Goiás e Revisor de periódico da Revista Geografia Literatura e Arte da
Faculdade de Filosofia. Tem experiência na área de Geografia, com ênfase em Geografia
Humana. Atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas:Cinema, Olhar, Paisagem, Cidade.
