A defesa da paz na dramaturgia cômica: a perspectiva da política em Lisístrata, de Aristófanes

Durante as Lenéias de 411 a.C. foi encenada em Atenas a peça Lisístrata, de Aristófanes. Do gênero das comédias, Lisístrata é uma defesa da paz. Este período, porém, registra o vigésimo ano da Guerra do Peloponeso, um período conturbado da vida social e política ateniense. Na mesma ocasião, Atenas enfrenta um golpe oligárquico e a sublevação de algumas colônias associadas ao Império Ateniense. Neste contexto a peça é simbólica. Lisístrata – aquela que “dissolve as tropas” – toma posse da Acrópole para denunciar a imprudência e a desrazão masculina, causa de angústia e falência moral. Vigilante, Lisístrata convence as mulheres de se abster de sexo em prol da tranquilidade e da vida espiritual da polis. O que Lisístrata tem em comum com as abordagens teóricas de Relações Internacionais? Esse artigo procura estabelecer uma primeira aproximação entre Aristófanes e as Relações Internacionais com o objetivo de captar um olhar da política.Downloads
