Abstract

In this article we aim to explain succinctly the ethnocentric historiographic legacy related to the characteristics of Amerindian societies and the processes of conquest and colonization of America; then, describe the process of construction of the Common National Curriculum Base, sanctioned in 2017, focusing on the approach of ethnic issues, especially the history of the peoples originating in America and, finally, make a brief analysis of the advances and limitations achieved in such a theme.

Igor Luis Andreo, Universidade Estadual de Londrina

Possui graduação em História pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (2004), mestrado em História pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2011) e doutorado em História pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP - Assis, 2015), com estágio de pesquisa na Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM ? México D.F., 2013). Atualmente é docente da Universidade Estadual de Londrina e docente do Instituto Nossa Senhora Auxiliadora (Rede Salesiana de Escolas). Tem experiência na área de História, com ênfase em História Latino-Americana.

José Victor Joly, Universidade Estadual de Londrina

Possui graduação em História pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (2019). Durante a graduação, participou do Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID/CAPES) entre 2015 e 2016, com participação em Projeto de Iniciação Científica. Tem experiência na área de História Militar.Desenvolve pesquisas na área de História do Tempo Presente, História, Política contemporânea brasileira e Novas Direitas.
