Apresentação - Segundo volume do Dossiê “A pluralidade na História das Ciências no Brasil - Instituições, sujeitos e saberes”

É com grande satisfação que anunciamos o lançamento do segundo volume do Dossiê Temático “A pluralidade na História das Ciências no Brasil: Instituições, sujeitos e circulação de saberes”. A publicação deste número suplementar foi motivada pela aderência da comunidade acadêmica ao dossiê, tendo sido enviada uma quantidade expressiva de trabalhos engajados com a proposta. A edição foi respaldada pela equipe da Revista Eletrônica História em Reflexão, que sugeriu esta publicação especial. Neste volume, apresentam-se novamente trabalhos na área de história da Medicina e da saúde, profissionalização da mulher e sua agência nos ofícios do ramo da assistência à saúde, teorias e propostas de intervenção nas esferas social e legal preconizadas por médicos, processo de desinstitucionalização da loucura enquanto processo descontínuo promovido por diferentes sujeitos, debates sobre história ambiental. Apresentam-se trabalhos que destacam as potencialidades dos acervos brasileiros, estudos que analisam historicamente como os laboratórios de radioisótopos foram inseridos na agenda de pesquisa brasileira e publicações sobre as dinâmicas de circulação de conhecimento e suas assimetrias, abordando tanto saberes elaborados na Europa quanto conhecimentos tradicionais.
