Convergências, divergências e disputas diante da emergência climática e da COP-30

Resumo

Nessa última década as crises socioecológicas globais ganharam mais velocidade, regularidade e intensidade face as mudanças climáticas. Também nessa última década várias formas de governanças climáticas foram criadas por diversos Estados-nações. A Conferência das Partes (COP), constitui um tipo de governança em rede, capaz de influenciar as decisões políticas, geopolíticas, econômicas e sociais amplas. Porém, tal governança e agenda vem apresentando uma série de ausências, silenciamentos e disputas. A Amazônia (Belém, Brasil), realizou a COP-30, em novembro de 2025, com o compromisso com a construção de uma agenda climática global: para ações para proteção da biodiversidade, o combate ao desmatamento e a incêndios, na promoção de economias solidárias e na melhoria da qualidade ambiental. Assim o objetivo do artigo é refletir criticamente acerca de convergências, divergências e disputas diante da emergência climática e da COP-30, em Belém, 2025, a partir do olhar de movimentos sociais, notadamente dos movimentos indígenas e da COP das Baixadas. O recorte temporal de pesquisa foi de janeiro de 2024 a abril de 2025, portanto esse artigo versará sobre o pré-COP-30, porém com temáticas e reflexões que aconteceram na COP-30.

Biografia do Autor

Jondison Rodrigues, Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA)

Licenciado em Ciências Naturais (2007/UFPA). Especialista em Educação Ambiental e Uso Sustentável dos Recursos Naturais (2009/UFPA). Mestre em Ciências Ambientais (2012/UFPA). Doutor em Desenvolvimento Socioambiental (2018/UFPA) e Pós-Doutor em Desenvolvimento Regional (UNIFAP/2020). Atualmente Pós-Doutorando em Geografia pela UFPA/PPGEO. Tem experiência: nas áreas de educação ambiental e  uso sustentável de recursos naturais; planejamento e sustentabilidade ambiental; conflitos socioambientais; políticas públicas territoriais; avaliação de grandes projetos na Amazônia com foco em resistências sociais e efeitos socioterritoriais.
