Abstract

Este livro, publicado originalmente em inglês em 2014 [Reinventing State Capitalism Leviathan in Business, Brazil and Beyond], foi lançado no Brasil um ano depois da versão estadunidense. Aldo Musacchio é professor associado da Brandeis International Business Schools, onde pesquisa o apoio estatal à competição empresarial nos mercados local e externo, a estratégia de criação de campeões nacionais, o papel do Estado por meio de empresas públicas e fundos soberanos, entre outros. Sérgio Lazzarini é professor titular do Insper e seus temas de pesquisa versam sobre estratégias empresariais em mercados emergentes e relações entre empresas privadas e setor público. Sérgio Lazzarini é autor de outro livro, “Capitalismo de laços: os donos do Brasil e suas conexões”, editado pela Elsevier.
