CRIATIVIDADE, ORIGINALIDADE E PLÁGIO NA PRODUÇÃO CIENTÍFICA

Abstract

Questões éticas estão presentes nas diversas etapas da produção do conhecimento científico. O estímulo a boas condutas deve ser priorizado especialmente durante a formação acadêmica de alunos de graduação e pós-graduação, de modo que se tornem valores intrínsecos ao fazer científico. O presente artigo apresenta propostas para subsidiar ações educativas que previnam más condutas, como o plágio e autoria ‘fantasma’, no ensino acadêmico e na pesquisa cientí­fica. Partindo-se de uma aproximação entre Ciência e Arte, procura-se mostrar a importância da compreensão sobre a complementaridade entre criatividade e racionalidade como processos fundamentais nessas duas áreas do conhecimento humano. Discutem-se,ainda, as diferenças entre dado, informação e conhecimento e suas relações na busca de conhecimentos originais. Por ­fim, são feitas considerações sobre autoria, autoplágio e produtividade científica.
