Abstract

O artigo analisa a presença dos novos fluxos migratórios no mercado de trabalho brasileiro e os diferentes desafios para as políticas públicas na atualidade. No primeiro quinquênio da presente década, o Brasil recebeu novos e diversificados grupos de imigrantes. O caso mais emblemático é o coletivo haitiano, que desde 2013 passaram a ser a principal nacionalidade no mercado de trabalho formal no Brasil. Em concreto, o presente texto tem dois grandes objetivos. Por um lado, visa apresentar os principais dados sobre os novos fluxos de imigrantes para o Brasil, especialmente no que concerne a sua presença no mercado de trabalho brasileiro. Por outro lado, o texto objetiva fazer uma reflexão sobre os principais desafios para as políticas migratórias no país. O texto é baseado nos dados analisados pelo relatório do Observatório das Migrações Internacionais (OBMigra), do ano 2015, a partir dos dados do Ministério de Trabalho e Previdência social (MTPS).
