Abstract

Neste breve ensaio destacamos três aspectos que permitem uma compreensão no que diz respeito ao tema, apontando inicialmente: a matriz do pensamento geopolítico brasileiro; em seguida, as ações por parte do Estado no que diz respeito a integração viária da Amazônia; e, para concluir, uma discussão sobre o revigoramento do projeto de integração física da Amazônia por meio da malha rodoviária no século XXI.
