The Graduate Program in Geography at the University of Brasília (PPGGEA/UnB) has established itself as a center of scientific production and social impact, integrating research, teaching, and outreach in areas related to environmental analysis, geoprocessing, and the production of urban and rural spaces. Its location in Brasília fosters dialogue with public institutions and the application of geographic knowledge in policies on territorial planning, sustainability, and socio-environmental justice. Between 2021 and 2024, the Program expanded its national and international partnerships, conducting studies on climate change, governance, and geographic education. With strong participation of alumni in public agencies, universities, and social organizations, PPGGEA reaffirms the strategic role of public universities in producing knowledge committed to social transformation, sustainable territorial management, and the strengthening of democracy.
