Revista da ANPEGE Publishes Reviewers History, Editorial History, and Updated Policies

2026-05-07

Dear authors, reviewers, editors, and members of the academic community,

Revista da ANPEGE announces that, in line with the principles of open science, editorial transparency, and public recognition of the collective work that sustains scientific communication, it has made two new institutional pages available on its website:

Reviewers' History, featuring the record of people who have contributed as ad hoc reviewers for the journal since 2018:
https://ojs.ufgd.edu.br/anpege/reviewershistory

Editorial History, featuring the list of editors responsible for the journal's editorial management since its foundation:
https://ojs.ufgd.edu.br/anpege/editorshistory

The publication of these histories aims to recognize the fundamental contribution of reviewers and editors who, over the years, have dedicated time, knowledge, and academic rigor to the qualification of manuscripts submitted to Revista da ANPEGE.

Peer review and editorial work are often discreet activities, but they are indispensable to the consolidation of a scientific journal. These contributions help preserve the journal's academic quality, scientific integrity, thematic diversity, and public commitment to Brazilian and international geographical scholarship.

We also invite the academic community to consult the updated editorial policies of Revista da ANPEGE, which provide guidance on submission, peer review, scientific integrity, use of artificial intelligence, authorship, conflicts of interest, copyright, licensing, research data, and other guidelines that inform the journal's editorial functioning.

By recording this trajectory and updating its policies, Revista da ANPEGE reaffirms its gratitude to the people who have participated in building its editorial History and contributed to the recognition and prominence the journal holds today in the field of Geography.

Sincerely,

Grace Bungenstab Alves
Editor of Revista da ANPEGE
