The objective of this work was to test the efficiency of the use of a commercial product based on Trichoderma in the control of the fungus Fusarium sp. in Pinus taeda and Pinus elliottii seedlings. Two Fusarium sp. isolates were used, which were inoculated in the seedlings by immersing the roots in spore suspension. The inoculated seedlings were placed in tubes with commercial substrate mixed with the biological powder and kept in a greenhouse. After 56 days, the severity of the disease was evaluated and the height, neck diameter, shoot length, root dry matter and aerial part dry matter were quantified. The results demonstrated that the incorporation of a commercial product based on Trichoderma harzianum into the substrate of the seedlings of P. taeda and P. elliottii inoculated with two isolates of Fusarium sp. decreased the severity of the disease and improved the quality of the seedlings.
