    Peer Review Process

Original articles in accordance with the Guidelines for Authors are evaluated in a double-blind system by two members of the Scientific Editorial Board and/or ad hoc referees. In case of corrections, the author has 30 days to send the corrected version to the editor. Rejected articles are returned to the authors with the proper justifications. In case of disagreement, the author may request, via e-mail, a new opinion from the Editorial Board.

Referees may not declare conflicts of interest. The following examples characterize conflict of interest: regular collaboration with the possible authors in research activities (e.g. publications), supervisor/supervisor relationship, commercial interest in publication, or kinship relations.
