Cotas raciais: os potenciais beneficiários e os discursos contrários

A questão das cotas raciais gera grande polêmica na sociedade brasileira fortemente marcada pela crença na ideologia da “democracia racial”. Assim sendo, conquista uma grande rejeição em vários setores da sociedade, inclusive entre a população negra e carente para as quais a medida foi desenvolvida. O objetivo deste artigo é desenvolver uma análise sobre a percepção de estudantes pretos e pardos sobre a política de cotas e os discursos que visam deslegitimar aos olhos desse grupo o ingresso no ensino superior mediante cotas raciais.

Abstract
The question of racial quotas generates great controversy in Brazilian society strongly marked by belief in the "racial democracy" ideology. Therefore it earns a great rejection in several sectors of society, including among the black and poor for which the measure was developed . The purpose of this article is to develop a analysis on the perception of black and brown students about the quota policy and speeches aimed to delegitimizing at the eyes of this group the entry into higher education by racial quotas.
