Os povos indígenas e as organizações internacionais: Instituto do Indigenato no direito brasileiro e autodeterminação dos povos indígenas
Abstract
Tratarei do tema a partir de minha experiência prática de advogado de povos indígenas do Brasil, desde o ano de 1981. A proposta é expor a temática dos povos indígenas na luta por seus direitos dentro dos Estados e pelo reconhecimento internacional. O objetivo é contribuir para que aqueles que tratam com questões relativas aos povos indígenas, sobretudo os juristas, adotem uma visão mais comparatista, porque a existência das sociedades indígenas, contemporâneas das denominadas sociedades modernas, impõe que se acolha uma visão pluralista do direito e das sociedades. O modelo ocidental de organização política e jurídica, não pode ser o único modelo para se pensar a organização política e o Direito.Downloads
