O “Grande” como solução à identificação regional: ampliações e retrações das delimitações da região de Dourados-MS

A região, entendida aqui como construção social, passa a ter representações múltiplas ao passo em que seu recorte naturaliza-se na sociedade. É quando sua ideia extrapola a dimensão da concepção e passa a operar nas dimensões do percebido e do vivido. Esse processo levou, em específico, a Região da Grande Dourados a uma indefinição de delimitação, o que não impossibilitou a permanência do uso do título dessa regionalização. O artigo, nesse sentido, traz – balizado por ideias e/ou noções de região – a trajetória, o processo de construção da delimitação do que seria a Região da Grande Dourados, numa tentativa de combinar a história (centrada no município de Dourados) que ocorre no interior dessa regionalização com a história da própria delimitação.Downloads
