“Leitores eu vou contar, um caso impressionante, uma cena muito triste, e um crime horripilante”: crimes e representações nos folhetos de cordel do Pará na primeira metade do século XX

No catálogo de folhetos de cordel da editora Guajarina de Belém do Pará, que atuou na primeira metade do século XX, encontramos muitos folhetos sobre crimes. Este tema atraía a atenção do público consumidor do cordel. De fato, muitos destes poemas rimados trataram de crimes de grande repercussão não apenas no Pará, mas até fora do Brasil. Os poetas que produziam esse tipo literatura atribuíam diversos valores aos crimes e aos atores envolvidos, como os criminosos e as vítimas. Neste trabalho, a partir daanálise de variados folhetos, buscamos perceber os múltiplos olhares e significados sobre o crime, e sobre os sujeitos sociais envolvidos nestes delitos, visando entender como algumas dessas experiências sociais foram compreendidas e representadas no estado do Pará.Downloads
