Abstract

Este trabalho tem por objetivo realizar uma análise sobre as principais críticas apontadas pelo filósofo francês Michel Foucault em sua obra A Arqueologia do Saber, publicada em 1969, de onde repercutiu algumas das mais ácidas criticas em relação às ciências humanas e conseqüentemente à historiografia no século XX. Para isso, apresenta-se de maneira sucinta ao leitor como se deu a trajetória da vida acadêmica desse intelectual francês, expondo as principais características da obra do autor e a importância de suas análises no âmbito das Ciências Humanas.
