As mudanças climáticas impulsionam debates sobre a questão energética e revelam interesses de agências internacionais e diversos setores privados e públicos, tais fatos, analisados pela geopolítica, permitem a realização de estudos sobre as relações multiescalares que envolvem o financiamento e execução da extração do minério de Cobalto na produção de baterias para os veículos elétricos e isso possibilita estabelecer relações entre as questões climática, energética e agrária, revelando redes globais de expropriação territorial
