Abstract

A partir do início da década de 1990 a geografia cultural passa por um processo de expansão que praticamente a levou de um quase absoluto desconhecimento a um nível de aceitação e prática significativas, ainda que minoritário. Em 2003 a comunidade de geógrafos culturais conta com periódico e uma série de livros publicados. Este texto procura descrever o caminho da geografia cultural no Brasil.
